Pretty Persuasion
Many of you wouldn't have heard of this movie. So I'll make it quick. This movie is one of the rare ones that I've seen which have direct in your face dialogue. No such thing as those hollywoody long-winded-speeches-by-the-bad-guys type. It the character has something to tell, he/she just tells it straight away. That's the most obvious thing I noticed about this film, and I like it. It really gives it a different level of the way you see things.
The movie revolves around Kimberly Joyce, played by Evan Rachael Wood, who would do anything to become famous, even at the cost of her best friends. And she plans everything oh so well. Backstabbing everyone else, and threatening them and acting all the time with a smile on her face. Maybe I've been watching too much scheming movies lately, but this one is one good one. Good in such a sense that it's really heartless and no mercy, self-centered and despicable. Goes to show never mess with women.
I'll give a B+
